Hortense, our Armstrong-Siddeley Hurricane is a large convertible 4-seater built just after the war. She has a 3-position hood, leather upholstery and walnut trim. She’s a rare and exclusive vehicle, one of probably only 50 still on the road. |

Hood down is the best way to enjoy travelling in Hortense. The body design minimises wind buffeting inside the car, especially with the side windows raised (as shown opposite). The side windows can be lowered completely out of sight for photography, or if you just prefer it that way! |

With her hood up Hortense keeps her classic good looks, but keeps the elements out completely. With a nice, high roof there’s still plenty of room in the back. |

In the Coupe-de-Ville position you get the convertible benefits of light and fresh air, plus further protection from the wind. The roof can be fully lowered very quickly from this position and it gives photographers some extra options for pictures of the bride and groom together. |

The easy seat adjustment and large, forward-opening “suicide” doors allow easy and dignified entry and exit from the rear seats. With the hood down it’s very easy to just walk into or out of the car. |
